After joining Deutsche Bank as a consultant Niels is now a member of the banks 'New Banking‘ initiative. He is focused on scaling & enhancing user research capabilities and fostering omnichannel alignment of the various channels, products and services being developed. The focus on customers attitude & behavior is of high importance for the bank, which is currently undergoing a major technological transformation.
Before joining Deutsche Bank, Niels worked for various agencies, startups and clients from the tech & automotive sector. This background equips him with the skills to drive the bank's user research efforts, bridging gaps between teams, involving stakeholders effectively, and therefore creating an enhanced user experience.
As the Interaction Design Foundations Country Manager for Germany, he holds an honorary role where he fosters local communities across the country by organizing meet-ups, the onboarding of Local Leaders and building connections between design professionals and enthusiasts.
